The follow-up to 2010's "Sherlock Holmes" doesn't hit theaters until Dec. 21, but don't look to the pair of character posters Warner Bros. released on Wednesday for clues about the kind of global conspiracy the famous detective will unravel this time.
Instead, the posters for "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" offer striking images of Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his loyal assistant Dr. Watson (Jude Law) in front of famous landmarks such as Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower.
Based on the plumes of smoke, either Paris and London chimney sweeps deserve to be canned or there's something explosive going on in the background.
