As J.R.R. Tolkien fans across the known world prepare to emerge from their lairs and hit the theaters for Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," a second trailer for the film has emerged to put them in a Middle Earth state of mind.
The new snippet from the film -- which hits theaters Dec. 14 -- delivers a big visual thrill, as Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) attempts to reclaim a stolen treasure in what will surely be an epic battle.
Put aside that game of Dungeons and Dragons for a couple of minutes and check out the new "Hobbit" trailer below.
