Lionsgate's "Hunger Games" sequel hits theaters on Nov. 22
Katniss Everdeen is ready to rumble with her oppressors on a new poster for "Hunger Games" sequel, "Catching Fire."
The artwork promoting the big screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' second book in the three-part series was released through Instagram on Tuesday and features Katniss (portrayed by Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence) holding a bow, while looking out over Panem from atop a mountain.
“The sun persists in rising, so I make myself stand," the poster's tagline reads — a quote pulled from the opening passages of the novel.
And in the background, fans should be quick to notice the mockingjay-shaped cloud behind the franchise's heroine.
"Catching Fire" follows Katniss and fellow Hunger Games victor Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) as they embark on a "Victor's Tour" throughout the twelve districts of Panem. But with the nation on the heels of a revolution, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) wants to make an example out of the winning tribute who is inspiring it.
Katniss, however, is ready to take a stand, as you can see below:
