Former "Dawson's Creek" star takes on iconic "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" actress — and an Irving Berlin chestnut — in new snippet
Assuming the role of iconic blonde Marilyn Monroe is no small task — especially when you throw in a little song and dance on top of it all.
A new clip from the upcoming Michelle Williams film "My Week With Marilyn" has hit the Web, showcasing the former "Dawson's Creek' star's vocal chops as she coos her way through the Irving Berlin chestnut "Heat Wave."
"My Week With Marilyn," which is based on the memoirs of filmmaker Colin Clark and chronicles her visit to England to film the 1957 movie "The Prince and the Showgirl," hits the big screen on Nov. 23. In the meantime, bask in the dulcet tones of Williams-as-Monroe in the video below.
