Chris Evans is moving from superhero to drug-addled townie, and Millennium Entertainment likes it.

Millennium has acquired all rights to "Puncture," which stars Evans as a drug addict who helps a safety-needle inventor battle a monopolizing medical supply corporation in court.

The movie, produced and directed by Adam Kassen and Mark Kassen, premiered at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. It is based on a true story.

Evans has goes from being Captain America to drug addict; from "Fantastic Four's" Human Torch to "London's" stressed-out cokehead Syd.

Millennium plans a fall 2011 theatrical release of the movie, which was written by Chris Lopata.
