Oscar nominee Oprah Winfrey will join Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock in an untitled comedy from Universal Pictures that will be written and directed by "Sex and the City" creator Michael Patrick King, the studio announced on Friday.
The film is set in and around the world of a home shopping-type network, and follows the female trio as they make their way through the maze of mania that surrounds marketing, marriages and the media.
Scott Stuber will producer through his company Stuber Pictures, which is based at Universal.
Tracy Falco will oversee the project for the studio.
King and the three actresses are all represented by CAA.
