The actress told Entertainment Weekly that she's making the movie with Allen, but that she can't say anything about her character or the movie.
Cruz won an Oscar for her role in her last Woody Allen film, 2008's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." She was nominated again the next year for her performance in "Nine."
Allen's next movie, "Midnight in Paris," is set for domestic release May 20 — the same day Cruz's "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" comes out.
