Universal is releasing Edgar Wright's latest film on Aug. 23
First they played with zombies, then they played cops and robbers, but now Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will be playing with nasty robots in the upcoming apocalyptic comedy, "The World's End."
The newest trailer for Edgar Wright's film takes a look back on his previous collaborations with Pegg and Frost ("Shaun of the Dead," "Hot Fuzz") before launching into their newest adventure, which involves five childhood friends returning to their hometown for a massive pub crawl.
Unfortunately, an army of robots that have taken over the town's population crash the party.
Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman and Rosamund Pike tag along for the drunken adventure to save humanity, while Pegg and Frost swap their usual on-screen personas.
For once, it's Frost's turn to play the straight-laced friend and Pegg shines as an obnoxiously immature 40-something desperately trying to cling to his youth.
