CBS Sunday Morning did a smart piece – with TheWrap – about the future of movies as fewer people head out to the theater
Never one to miss a beat, I am playing catch-up on a very good piece about the movie business that ran on CBS Sunday Morning.
I was interviewed for it, and thought y'all might learn something new. On the other hand, if you read this site regularly, you probably already know much of what they put together.
Anyway, it's a good, meaty, five-minute piece, with thanks to CBS and producer Steve Glauber. Here is a link to the video, and as soon as CBS fixes its embed code, we will put the video up directly.
"The population that is going to movies less than they used to is clearly young men," I tell the correspondent, as she cites us as a "must-read blog." (Too true.) "Those people are now increasingly spending time on video games, spending time on YouTube, on Facebook."
