Additional companies boarding the project include: Netflix (U.S.) and Hanway Films for international sales.
Thorsten Schumacher, managing director of Hanway Films said: "Hanway couldn't be more proud to be representing ‘The Unknown Known.’ Errol Morris is an iconic filmmaker and Donald Rumsfeld will make for fascinating viewing in both the old and new Europe and the rest of the world."
Drawing from hours of filmed interviews and previously unseen material from the former defense secretary's private archive, Morris examines Rumsfeld’s role in American history, ranging from the Watergate era to the Global War on Terror.
