‘Twilight’ Actress Kristen Stewart In Talks For ‘Huntsman’ Role

Universal is also looking at other actresses for the role of Snow White, and is negotiating with Viggo Mortensen to star as the Huntsman and Charlize Theron to play the evil queen

Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga, is one of the actresses Universal is considering for the role of Snow White in "Snow White and the Huntsman," TheWrap has confirmed.

The movie, based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, focuses on the Huntsman, a character who is supposed to kill Snow White but ends up protecting her, mentoring her and teaching her how to fight and survive.

Charlize Theron is negotiating for the role of the evil queen and Viggo Mortensen is negotiating for the role of the Huntsman.

The film, directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Evan Daugherty, has a scheduled release date of Dec. 21, 2012.

    Oh god no! *sigh* The one note mope can not act. I suppose they just want to get the Twilight teens in the theater as this is rated low enough for them to see (no adult goes to see KS0. But she isn't merely bad, she is distractingly bad. Her acting is best summed up as, “look at me right now, I'm being moody”.

    Kristen Stewart is quite a talented and precocious actress. She's not to blame for some of the terrible dialogue written for the Twilight series. Onscreen she has a well developed emotional range and a very subtle delivery. She's better than most actresses twice her age.
