Grammys 2013: Was Skin Still In on the Red Carpet?
by Alexander C. Kaufman

Jennifer Lopez put her best foot -- and a lot of leg -- forward with this slit black gown.

British songbird Adele was like a bouquet on the red carpet.

Rihanna was red all over, right down to her nails.

Carly Rae Jepsen is hoping someone might call her maybe.

Adam Levine, the frontman of Maroon 5, dons sunglasses at the ceremony.

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose walked hand-in-hand down the aisle.

Beyonce showed up in an elegant black-and-white dress.

Faith Hill arrived on the red carpet sporting a chic black dress.

Kathy Griffin arrived, though Deadspin found her invitation laughable.

Carrie Underwood, a multiple Grammy winner (and nominee) wore over $31 million in precious diamonds by designer Johnathon Arndt, US Weekly reported.

Taylor Swift performed her break-up anthem "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at the show.

What with CBS making an issue of the skin traditionally on display at the Grammys – the network warned the stars to keep their breasts, butts and other private parts under wraps – the focus was, of course, on the skin. Most of the celebs arriving early appeared to heed the call, though Jennifer Lopez managed to show a lot of leg – her right one, specifically.  See if you think the network's order turned down the heat, or poured gas on the fashion fire.
