George Lucas is rumored to be engaged in preproduction on a CGI-animated film about fairies, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
If so, Lucasfilm is remaining mum. When contacted by TheWrap, a company spokeswoman would neither confirm nor deny the reports and would only say it was "too early" to comment.
Aside from the "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" franchises, Lucas has also produced "Willow" and the notorious bomb "Howard the Duck." If the Reporter is right, he'll cede the director's chair to Kevin Munroe, who previously directed the fourth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
