Fledgling exhibitor Rave Cinemas of Dallas said Monday that it will buy at least 29 theaters currently operated by Sumner Redstone's National Amusements and perhaps as many as 45, backed by a consortium of private equity firms. Rave also began managing Mann Theatres' Beverly Center multiplex in West Hollywood.
Rave also will restructure the holding company for its current 21-theater chain as part of the transaction.
