At the Comic-Con panel for "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" on Thursday evening, director Edgar Wright announced that a small collection of fans gathered in Hall H -- those with a certain number on their souveneir button -- would be going to a super-secret screening of the film.
It just happened to be the world premiere of the finished edit.
Judging by all the people at the Balboa theater who were dressed as characters, you'd have thought that they were in on the secret (and had seen it before).
TheWrap got in (read the review here), and managed to snap a few photos of the die-hards.
