Dennis Hopper, who died Saturday of prostate cancer at the age of 74, had a long and varied career in film and television. He co-wrote and directed the seminal hippie road movie "Easy Rider" and created indelible villains in films including "Speed" and "Blue Velvet." In later years he did TV series including "24" and "Crash," as well as commercials. Through it all he was a noted art collector and artist himself.
