Tim Burton called the doomed "Superman Lives" reboot the worst experience of his career, mostly because of all the time wasted on the late '90s project that never got off the ground.
Well, he's got this to show for it: Some really off-the-wall costume images.
Special effects wiz Steve Johnson posted some pictures of the suit Nic Cage was supposed to wear (before Burton and Warner Bros. abandoned the film some $30 million into pre-production).
The suit was apparently a living, breathing kind of thing -- complete with the "S," though not as you've ever seen it before.
