Beastie Boys Rapper Adam Yauch to Be Remembered With MTV Special

Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch, who died Friday after battling cancer, will be remembered with videos and testimony from his peers

Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch, who died Friday morning at the age of 47 after a battle with cancer, will be honored with an MTV special Friday night.

"Adam Yauch: Remembering a Beastie Boy," a one-hour special hosted by MTV News' Sway Callowy, will include videos, performances and remembrances from his peers, such as Biz Markie.

The special will air at 8 p.m., and will also be simulcast on
mtvU.com.

"Adam Yauch: Remembering a Beastie Boy" will re-air at 11 p.m. on MTV2; additional re-airing will occur throughout the weekend on MTV Hits and MTV Jams.
