MTV Movie Awards: ‘Twilight’ Beats ‘Hunger Games’ for Best Kiss

Jennifer Lawrence has to content herself with a Best Female Performance Golden Popcorn

She may be no slouch with a bow and arrow, but when it comes to lip-locking, Katniss Everdeen has nothing on Bella Swan.

Kristen Stewart was forced to accept the Golden Popcorn statue solo at the tween skewing awards show. Her co-star and co-kisser Robert Pattinson was not in attendance, robbing RPatz and KStew lovers of another sliver of tonsil hockey.

The actress tried to convince her "Snow White and the Huntsman" co-stars Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth to join her onstage, as well as Pattinson's onscreen rival for her affections, Taylor Lautner — but found no takers.

Left without a partner, Stewart had no choice but to mime kissing herself.

But weep not for Katniss. Jennifer Lawrence picked up the statue for Best Female Performance, beating out a group that included "Bridesmaids" star Kristen Wiig and "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo"s' Rooney Mara.

Stewart was not nominated in the category, sparing the young adult icons another face-off.
