MTV2 has handed out additional season orders for its reboot of “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out” and new series “Ain’t That America with Lil Duval.”

Both shows will return in 2014, and both broke ratings records for the male-skewing cable channel on Tuesday nights.

“Wild ‘N Out” is MTV2’s highest rated series in history with an average 1.1 million total viewers per episode and a 1.3 in the network’s key demo, 12-34 year-olds. It consistently won the demo in its timeslot.

“Ain’t That America” is MTV2’s second-highest rated series in its history and its most-watched original series. It averaged a .8 in its key demo as well as the No. 1 ranking in its timeslot for the demo.

Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out” ended its original run on MTV back in 2005. It pits two teams against each other in old school rap battles —  one team led by Cannon, the other by a guest star. After several theme rounds, the scores are tallied, and one team is crowned the episode’s winner.

In its return to MTV2, much of the original cast rejoined Cannon, but the show itself has moved production to New York City.

Stand-up comedian Lil Duval hosts “Ain’t That America,” in which he and his guest stars examine different parts of the American experience with a comedic take. Topics have included ways in which people become famous in our country, weddings, parenting and the American work ethic.
