ACM Nominees Announced: Kenny Chesney Leads Academy of Country Music Awards Nominees

Kenny Chesney leads in the nominations for the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, announced Thursday. He has nine nominations, including Entertainer of the Year.

Jason Aldean earned three nominations, Brad Paisley four, and Toby Keith three. Taylor Swift earned the most solo female nominations with three, and Grace Potter received three for projects with Chesney.

Lady Antebellum leads the group nominations with five, and the Eli Young Band earned three.

Besides Chesney, Entertainer of the Year nominees include Aldean, Paisley, Swift, and Blake Shelton, who will host the ceremony with Reba. It airs Sunday, April 1 from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

CBS announced a deal Wednesday to continue airing the ceremony for a decade.
