Crisis averted at 11th hour as rogue pop star apologizes for saying "f– Bill Clinton"
Citizens of the world breathed sighs of relief and hugged their children a little harder Thursday as Justin Bieber and President Bill Clinton narrowly averted a crisis of potential Us Weekly-cover magnitude.
Bieber, who leads an army of screaming girls, apologized for letting out a random "f— Bill Clinton!" after peeing in a restaurant's mop bucket.
On Wednesday, a video of the Canadian superstar emerged that was said to have been shot earlier in the year. Bieber urinated into a mop bucket while his friends cheered and took videos on their cell phones (oops). He then ran off and sprayed a photo of Bill Clinton with what appeared to be glass cleaner and cursed the former leader of the free world.
An E! Online report doesn't make clear whether Clinton called Bieber or Bieber called Clinton, but come on: Bieber called Clinton. Clinton reportedly told Bieber "something along the lines of, 'If that is the worst thing you have ever done, all is well.'" Bieber is said to have responded with an offer to help Clinton with his Global Initiative.
Bieber later tweeted a thank you to Clinton for their chat: "Thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot."
So far, Bieber does not appear to have apologized to whoever had to clean the bucket.
