The pop star's third album, "ARTPOP," drops Nov. 11
Lady Gaga is still dressing weird — and finally releasing a new album. Gaga's "ARTPOP" — her third record — will arrive on Nov. 11, according to a statement on her website.
But that's not all! The album will drop alongside an app that the singer describes as “a musicial and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology.”
According to the announcement, the app will allow users to "build and share their own projects, chat with one another, and watch in real-time on a virtual globe as 'ARTPOP' explodes onto the physical and virtual universe at once" — whatever that means.
The app will also allow users to experience the "adrenaline of fame" through a "reverse Warholian experience." Whatever that means.
A first single from "ARTPOP" will hit the airwaves on Aug. 19. Pre-orders for the album begin on Sept. 1.
