The music video is the fifth Anderson has directed for the singer and songwriter, his former girlfriend
In between directing his Oscar-winning-or-nominated films, Paul Thomas Anderson found time to direct Fiona Apple's new music video for "Hot Knife."
The video, which features Apple banging a drum while singing, is his fifth collaboration with the poetic rocker, his former galpal. Anderson previously directed music videos for Apple songs "Across the Universe," "Fast as You Can," "Limp" and "Paper Bag."
Anderson is currently shooting his next feature, "Inherent Vice," an adaptation of Thomas Pynchon's crime novel. Joaquin Phoenix is set to star as a private detective opposite Owen Wilson, Benicio del Toro, Reese Witherspoon, Martin Short and Jena Malone.
