The Los Angeles District Attorney's office announced Tuesday that they will charge Lohan with felony grand theft at an arraignment on Wednesday.

The D.A.’s office said in a statement Tuesday:

Lindsay Lohan will be charged Wednesday with one count of felony grand theft for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice jewelry store.

The judge in the Michael Jackson manslaughter trial announced Monday that he is going to allow TV cameras in the courtroom.

Judge Michael Pastor also moved the start date of the trial four days forward to Mach 24. 2011.

Accused of unintentionally killing the pop superstar, who died on June 25, 2009, without malice with an overdose of propofol and other drugs, Dr. Conrad Murray could face up to four years in prison if found guilty.

Lindsay Lohan is in trouble with the law again, this time over a $2,500 necklace.

The Los Angeles Police Department, TheWrap has learned, has handed over its investigation into whether the “Mean Girls” actress stole jewelry from a Venice, Calif. store to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.

“The police brought in a report before noon,” L.A. D.A. spokesperson Sandi Gibbons told TheWrap. “We will be reviewing it. I do not anticipate any further action today.”

The store alleges that Lohan, who has been living in the Venice area since getting out of the Betty Ford Center in early January, took the necklace on Jan. 22.

A cocaine bender may have preceded Charlie Sheen's sudden hospitalization on Thursday.

The "Two and a Half Men" actor was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles with stomach pains early Thursday morning.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association continues to keep the California judicial system humming. 

The organization behind the Golden Globe Awards is being sued again; this time by the charity Stars for a Cause. Stars is seeking $1 million in damages, alleging that HFPA President Phil Berk muddied the waters while the group was trying to negotiate a contract with Chrysler and NBC. 

Stars and its co-founder George Braunstein were working with Chrysler to donate a car that would be signed by various celebrities at the awards show and auctioned off to benefit Haitian Earthquake Relief, among other organizations. 

The HFPA issued a statement Wednesday rejecting the allegations.
