Ratings: 'Family Guy' Takes Key Demo; CBS and Fox Tie for First

ABC's "Red Widow" falls sharply in key demo

Fox's "Family Guy" scored the night's top ratings in the key demographic on Sunday as Fox and CBS tied in the demo and ABC's "Revenge" and CBS's "The Good Wife" grew, according to preliminary numbers.

CBS shared first place with Fox in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic with a 1.7 rating/5 share and took first place in total viewers outright with 9.6 million. "60 Minutes" at 7 pm. was down 21 percent with a 1.5/5 and had 11.6 million total viewers, while "The Amazing Race" the following hour ticked down to a 2.3/6 and had 9 million total viewers. The season finale of "The Good Wife" was up 7 percent from last week but down 6 percent from last season's finale, posting a 1.6/4 and drawing 9 million total viewers. "The Mentalist" at 10 was down slightly with a 1.5/4 and took 8.7 million total viewers.

Fox was fourth in total viewers with 3.6 million. Following a "Simpsons" repeat at 7, "The Cleveland Show" at 7:30 grew 33 percent to a 1.2/4 and had 2.6 million total viewers. A new "Simpsons" at 8 was up 11 percent for a 2.0/6 and drew 4.5 million total viewers, while "Bob's Burgers" at 8:30 took a 1.7/5 with 3.5 million total viewers. "Family Guy" at 9 drew even with its last original two weeks ago for a 2.5/7, the night's best  performance in the demo, and had 4.9 million total viewers. "American Dad" at 9:30 took a 1.9/5 and had 4 million total viewers.

ABC was third in ratings and second in total viewers with a 1.5/4 and 5.7 million. "America's Funniest Home Videos" at 7 was up 15 percent for a 1.5/5 and had 6.4 million total viewers, while "Once Upon a Time" ticked down to a 2.0/6 and took 7 million total viewers. "Revenge" the following hour was up 13 percent from its last original on March 31 with a 1.7/4 and took 5.9 million total viewers, while "Red Widow" at 10 was down 30 percent from its last original on the same night, taking a 0.7/2. It had 3.5 million total viewers.

NBC was fourth in ratings and third in total viewers with a 1.2/3 and 4.1 million. Following a repeat of "The Voice" at 7, "The Celebrity Apprentice" at 9 ticked down to a 1.5/4 and drew 5 million total viewers.
