Natalie Portman took away the Best Actress award at Sunday's Oscars, making her the envy of half of Hollywood Sunday night. The character that won her the statuette, however? Not so much.

"Black Swan" actress Portman opined backstage at this year's Academy Awards that tormented ballet dancer Nina Sayers is "to be pitied." According to Portman, "I think her passion is to be admired but for obvious fragile mental state and fragmentation of her identity is definitely to be pitied."

Portman, who's currently expecting a child with fiancé Benjamin Millepied, also divulged that her child-to-be is already developing a reputation as quite the little rug-cutter — perhaps not surprising, since she and Millepied, a ballet dancer, met on the set of the ballet thriller. The actress noted, "The baby was definitely kicking a lot during the song portion of the [Oscars]. A little dancer."
