The actor told Jimmy Kimmel all about his Vitamix 5200 blender, which can blend a lot more than just fruit
Nathan Fillion loves gadgets, and one of his favorite toys is the Vitamix 5200 — a blender that turns just about anything into liquid.
But with great power, comes great responsibility, and the “Castle” star failed horribly when he accidentally blended a kitchen utensil into shakes he served his friends at a party centered around the Vitamix.
“It didn't turn out well. Something was terribly wrong. I'm not going to lie, it was bad,” Fillion told Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday night.
Fillion explained he was puzzled why his shakes tasted so “industrial” and “gritty” when he had arranged so many delicious ingredients to scoop into the device to make shakes.
“Everybody leaves, I'm cleaning up, I got the blender cleaned, and I'm going, ‘Where's my scoop?'” Fillion continued. “I fed all my friends a scoop.”
