Watch NBC’s Fall Shows: Previews for 10 New Series

The Peacock does some strutting with advance glimpses of its upcoming programming

Now that NBC has announced its upcoming slate of new series, the network is giving the public a glimpse at the programming to come.

NBC screened 10 trailers during its upfronts presentation. They offer a glimpse of new series, including "The Playboy Club," "Prime Suspect," "Awake" and "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea" (pictured).

"Prime Suspect" revamps the British series starring Helen Mirren, placing Maria Bello in the lead role as Jane Timoney, a brilliant cop who's grappling with her status as an outsider in the NYPD.
 

 

In "The Playboy Club," Eddie Cibrian and Amber Heard star in a drama explores the lives of Playboy bunnies toiling at the Playboy Club in 1960s Chicago.
 

 

Co-produced by Steven Spielberg, "Smash" will star Debra Messing and Katharine McPhee as they and a colorful cast of characters attempt to assemble a Broadway show.

 

"Grimm" conjures up a world where characters similar to those in Grimm's Fairy Tales actually exist.

In "Awake," Jason Isaacs stars as a cop who finds his life split between two separate realities after a fatal car accident.
 

 

In "Whitney," funny lady Whitney Cummings explores the ups and downs of a committed relationship in today's complicated world.

 

"Up All Night" stars Christina Applegate as an acerbic working mother who must contend with her stay-at-home husband (Will Arnett) and opinionated parents.

 

In "Free Agents," Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn star as co-workers who are both on the rebound from relationships.

 

Based on the life of comedienne Chelsea Handler, "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea" stars former "That '70s Show" actress Laura Prepon in the title role.

 

"Bent" will star Amanda Peet as a recently divorced mother who struggles to avoid the charms of her surfer-dude contractor who's renovating her kitchen.
