‘I Dream of NeNe’ Season Finale Earns Series’ Highest Ratings

NeNe Leakes’ second marriage to Gregg Leakes attracts 2.28 million viewers

About 2.28 million people crashed NeNe Leakes’ re-marriage ceremony on Sunday’s two-hour season finale of Bravo’s “I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding.”

The episode, which aired at 8/7c, gave the series a tie for its most-watched episode (versus the Oct. 13 episode) with 2.8 million viewers, it gave the series its highest amount of viewers among the advertiser-coveted 18-49 year old demographic with 1.1 million viewers. At the same time, it earned its highest amount of viewers in Bravo’s key demo, adults 25-54 with 1.3 million viewers in that group.

Viewers tuned in to watch NeNe re-marry her former husband, Gregg Leakes, in front of a packed ballroom full of friends, family, celebrities and “Real Housewives” castmates. Surprisingly, former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” castmember Kim Zolciak attended the wedding after a very tumultuous relationship with NeNe. The reception included a surprise performance from “American Idol” winner Fantasia.

“I Dream of NeNe” gave freshman series “The New Atlanta” its most-watched episode of the season. Airing at 10/9c, it attracted about 1.1 million total viewers and 630,000 amid the 18-49 demo. It remains to be seen how much of that audience will return for Tuesday’s season finale at 10/9c.
