New ‘Star Wars’ TV Clip: ‘I Have Seen Your Eyes’ (Video)

Disney unveils 32-second spot for “The Force Awakens” that harkens to the past

Disney rolled out the first TV spot for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” via Twitter on Sunday, and though it was just 32 seconds long, we learned a few things.

“I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people,” intones a voiceover from Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Max Kanata. “I see your eyes. I know your eyes.”

The clip, in which Harrison Ford is prominently featured as Hans Solo, along with Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey, seems to make a point of linking with the past “Star Wars” episodes.

But check it out and make your own judgment. The movie debuts in North America and most of the world on Dec. 18.
