Funny Or Die and Bonnie McKee dropped a brilliant parody of NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” theme song on Friday, the morning after the NFL kicked off its regular season.
As one might expect, the spoof started out as an earnest pro football tribute before predictably heading right towards the many scandals that plague the league.
Here are some of the best lines:
“Hey Jack, it’s a fact/the science is in/But let’s talk Peyton/not concussions.”
And: “Yeah Deflategate is still a thing/Now let’s eat Meat Lover’s Pizza and some chicken wings.”
Plus: “It’s tackle time on Sunday night/But when
Finally: “If you don’t watch football you’re going to hell.”
Somehow, this video is currently skewing “Die” and not “Funny.” Let’s remedy that travesty, shall we?
