Nick Zano, Channing Tatum TV Script in Development at Warner Bros. TV

In its very early stages, "Magic Mike" writer-producer Reid Carolin will executive produce

Warner Bros. TV is betting on an untitled script from Nick Zano and executive produced by Channing Tatum, a Warner Bros. Television representative confirmed to TheWrap.

The untitled project is in its very early stages. Aside from writing, Zano will also executive produce along with Tatum and Reid Carolin, who wrote and produced "Magic Mike" and executive produced on "White House Down." Iron Horse Entertainment will produce in association with WBTV.

Newly greenlit for script development, the project is a half-hour, multi-camera comedy based on Zano's own experience being raised in a multi-generational house of seven women in New Jersey.

It follows 30-year-old Nicky, who is trying to finally move out of the house – only to realize he needs to stay and help raise his youngest sister.

If all goes well, the studio is planning to shop it to networks during development season.

The idea of adapting real-life for the screen is familiar territory for Tatum and Carolin. "Magic Mike" was based on Tatum's own experiences during his time as a stripper.

Deadline first reported the deal.
