Nigel Lythgoe, Gail Berman’s ‘Easiest Game Show Ever’ Picked Up by Pop

“Wet Hot American Summer’s” Michael Ian Black will host true-or-false quiz show

Pop has ordered 20 episodes of “Easiest Game Show Ever,” a new reality series hosted by Michael Ian Black.

The pop culture trivia game is executive produced by Nigel Lythgoe and Gail Berman with fellow executive producer Barry Poznick. It will premiere in early 2016.

In each episode, a pair of contestants work together to answer true or false to 20 pop culture facts. These statements test their instinctual knowledge of entertainment, food, fashion and culture. Such questions include: True or False? Betty White is older than sliced bread?

Contestants will have to answer 15 out of 20 questions correctly for a chance at a maximum prize of $100,000.

“I’m thrilled to be part of ‘Easiest Game Show Ever,’” said Black. “As somebody who appreciates the easy things in life, this show is a perfect fit for me. I look forward to giving away a lot of other people’s money.”
