If Jon Stewart doesn't like President Obama's next debate performance, he can tell him in 
person: Obama will appear on "The Daily Show" next Thursday, two days after his second faceoff with Mitt Romney.
It will be Obama's sixth "Daily Show" appearance and second as president. Though Stewart has a generally liberal outlook, he hasn't hesitated, especially recently, to call Obama out on what he sees as his mistakes.

This week, for example, he said the president revealed an "October surprise" in his first debate with Romney: "He's given up." Obama was roundly criticized for a lackluster performance.
Stewart also criticized an Obama ad this week that said Romney was targeting Big Bird instead of Wall Street criminals.
Still, Obama sees Stewart's show as a venue for firing up the young voters who helped him win the presidency. He received a resounding welcome on Oct. 27, 2010, just before the midterm elections. Tea Party candidates made big gains that November, but Obama clearly had the approval of Stewart's audience.
Stewart told Obama at the time that he believed Democrats had gone from running on a message of "hope and change" in 2008 to saying in 2010, "Please baby, give me one more chance."
Obama said his administration had "prevented another Great Depression" and that the economy was growing — arguments he is also making now as he seeks re-election.
