Elliott Kleinberg is promoted to chief operating officer, Steven Andriuzzo renewed as chief financial officer
Open Road Films has promoted Elliott Kleinberg to chief operating officer and renewed chief financial officer Steven Andriuzzo’s contract, the company said Monday.
Kleinberg previously held the title of general counsel and executive vice-president of operations and business affairs.
“Elliott and Steven are invaluable to every aspect of our business at Open Road Films,” Chief Executive Tom Ortenberg said in a statement. “Their razor sharp sensibilities have helped the company grow and thrive and I look forward to our next chapter working together.”
Prior to joining Open Road Films when it was founded in 2011, Kleinberg served as chief operating officer of United Artists, where he was responsible for operations, finance, business and legal affairs, human resources and investor relations. Before his tenure at United Artists, Kleinberg was a partner at the law firm of Kleinberg Lopez Lange Cuddy Edel & Klein.
Andriuzzo joined Open Road Films at its inception from Paramount Pictures, where he served as senior vice-president of planning and finance for the domestic home entertainment division. Before joining Paramount, Andriuzzo spent several years with DreamWorks, where he served as head of corporate finance and motion picture group controller. He played a key role in shaping the initial public offering of DreamWorks Animation.
