“The O’Reilly Factor” producer Jesse Watters was kicked off of Cornell University’s campus while trying to interview students in a segment that aired Monday.

The Fox News personality, who hosts the show’s weekly “Watters’ World” segment, visited the campus to ask students about a recent Cornell Daily Sun article that said 96 percent of the faculty’s political campaign donations went to Democratic candidates.

“Only 15 of 323 donors gave to conservative campaigns for causes. That doesn’t seem real diverse to me,” O’Reilly said while introducing the segment. “So we sent Watters to Cornell.”

Watters asked the university’s students to weigh in on the report, trying to ascertain whether or not the liberal leaning of the faculty is impacting their education.

“Do you ever feel the professors are pushing a liberal agenda here?” he asked one student. “Do the professors pass around doobies in class?” he asked another.

After he began quizzing students on issues such as immigration, the national debt and the Benghazi scandal, a deputy director of media relations for the school came out to ask him to leave. “Sorry for interrupting,” she said, “We just ask that you don’t interview students on campus.”

Watters then interviewed the school’s senior director of media relations, John Carberry and asked him directly for permission to film on campus. Carberry repeatedly denied the request and said Watters would receive a release with more information.
