I love the song, and the movie is one of my favourite animated movies. I also love the way she sings the song in the movie, but at the oscars, she did not perform it well. I've been a professional musician for 35 years. Idina was singing audibly faster than the music accompaniment and her notes were slightly under on all belted notes. She also could not hit the lower notes in the first verse. She was nervous and her voice was shaky at some parts.

I agree. I am not a musician but thought to myself if it had been a music competition I'm sure the judges would have pointed out that the song seemed to have gotten away from her-or her away from it.
