OTX Re-Shuffles Motion Picture Group

Following Goetz's departure, research firm taps Bruzzese to lead division

In the wake of longtime OTX operative Kevin Goetz's departure to start his own company, Screen Engine LLC, the Hollywood research and consulting firm is reorganizing its motion picture division.

The new management team will be led by Vincent Bruzzese (left). Bruzzese will be based in Los Angeles and will oversee all U.S. based studio clients. The veteran researcher joined the company in 2001, and helped oversee studios migration to online research tools. His particular areas of expertise are movie tracking, screenings and ad testing.

OTX’s international Motion Picture business expansion will continue to be led by Ian Wright, who is based in London. Wright joined OTX in 2006 and helped establish OTX Europe.

“Both Vinny and Ian are innovators at heart and, even more importantly, are willing and excited to explore and develop new research solutions to meet today’s digitally driven world,” Bruce Friend, OTX President Media and Entertainment Group, said in a statement.

The moves and Goetz's exit come just a month after OTX was sold to French research giant IPSOS for an undisclosed sum.
