Owen Wilson Animated Comedy ‘Turkeys’ Hitting Theaters in Nov. 2014

Relativity to release "Safe Haven" in Feb. 2013

"Turkeys," an animated comedy featuring the mellow vocal stylings of Owen Wilson, will hit theaters on Nov. 14, 2014,  Relativity Media and Reel FX said Thursday.

The studio also announced that "Safe Haven," an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' best-selling romantic novel, will premiere on Feb. 14, 2013 — just in time for Valentine's Day. It was originally scheduled to debut on Feb. 8, 2013. In its new slot, it will face off against "A Good Day to Die Hard" and the animated film "Escape from Planet Earth."

"Safe Haven" is directed by Lasse Hallström ("The Cider House Rules") and stars Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough.

"Turkeys" is a buddy comedy featuring two feathered pals who have to travel back in time. The release date comes with a healthy week-long window before the type of birds at the center of the story become the main course at many Thanksgiving celebrations across America. No other films are slated to open against "Turkeys."

"Safe Haven" centers on a young woman’s struggle to find love again in a close-knit North Carolina town.

Also on tap for Relativity are the ensemble comedy "Movie 43" (in theaters Jan. 25, 2013), the comedy "21 and Over" (March 1, 2013) and the espionage thriller "Paranoia" (October 4, 2013).
