Peace activist, labeled “terrorist group leader” in the movie, says it has ruined his life
A Palestinian grocer is suing comedian Sacha Baron Cohen over his most recent film, "Bruno," saying its depiction of him has ruined his life.
The suit, filed by Ayman Abu Aita, seeks £70 million ($115 million) in libel damages. The movie’s worldwide gross was about $137 million.
Aita, who says he is a peace activist from Bethlehem, was pictured in the film with the caption "Terrorist group leader, Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade."
