Written by J. Mills Goodloe ("Ride"), "Wonderful Tonight" chronicles an unlikely love affair between a wealthy bachelor and a free-spirited woman whose one-night stand results in a child. Christine Jeffs ("Sunshine Cleaning") will direct. Rejected by his co-parent because of his arrogant past, the bachelor must fight to prove himself as a father and win her heart.

Martin Shafer and Liz Glotzer are producing under the Castle Rock Entertainment banner, along with producers Donna Roth and Susan Arnold.

"We responded to J. Mills Goodloe's feel good script immediately and we are so pleased to be in business with Martin and Liz at Castle Rock and with Susan Arnold and Donna Roth," Myriad president/CEO Kirk D'Amico said. "We think that the combination of Christine Jeffs, Patrick Dempsey , and Amanda Seyfried brings a wonderful chemistry to this highly original romantic comedy."
