Is it time for Christmas decorations already?
Mercifully, local stores are probably still focusing on Halloween for a few weeks, but Paul Rudd and Paul Giamatti are out hawking Christmas trees in the first trailer for “All Is Bright.”

Dennis (Giamatti) is a recently paroled ex-con from Quebec trying to buy back his daughter’s love. There are only two problems: Dennis can’t get a job, and his ex-wife told their daughter that he died of cancer.
Undeterred, to raise money for a Christmas piano for his daughter, Dennis is convinced by his ex-partner-in-crime Rene (Rudd) to join him in selling Christmas trees in New York City.
What could possible go wrong? Oh, everything.
“All Is Bright” comes out on demand Sept. 10 and select theaters Oct. 4.
