Pellicano Pleads No Contest to Threatening Reporter

Will serve 3-year state prison term concurrently with federal time.

Hollywood private eye Anthony Pellicano and Alexander Proctor, accused of threatening newspaper reporter Anita Busch in 2002 to scare her off a story, pleaded no contest Friday to making a criminal threat.

According to the district attorney’s office, they were sentenced to the maximum of three years in prison, to be served concurrently with their remaining federal prison sentences.
