There was one role of Phillip Seymoyr Hoffman that I was surprised to find was left out of his filmography. Before his breakout role as Scotty J in “Boogie Nights,” Hoffman had a supporting role as the eccentric storm chaser Dusty in “Twister.” I loved Dusty, for the character reminded me of a close friend i knew when I lived in San Francisco in the '80s.

I saw “Twister”, “Before the Devil Knows You're Dead”, “The Ides of March”, “The big Lebowski”, and “The Talented Mr. Ripley”. So far but I'm going rent from Netflix. He is one of my favor actor; many characters. Too good to be true and to sad to be end of his life. He will be missed by millions of people.
