“November Man,” starring Brosnan and Dominic Cooper, will be the first film as part of the deal. Roger Donaldson will direct the action thriller, adapted from the espionage novel “There Are No Spies” by Michael Finch.

The Solution, co-founded by Lisa Wilson and Myles Nestel, will arrange the financing and handle international distribution for “November Man,” which follows a former CIA operative brought back into the fold. The operative then squares off against a former pupil. CAA will represent domestic rights.

It will begin shooting in October in Berlin.

“Myles and Lisa are great partners for us as filmmakers and share our vision for these films,” producer Beau St. Clair said. “Their extensive creative and financial experience enables our projects to maximize their full potential.  We all believe that the Bill Granger novels and the character of Devereaux feel like the perfect vehicle for Pierce.”

Brosnan will next appear in Susanne Bier’s “Love is All You Need” while Cooper will hit the screen this summer in “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.”
