Adult film actress Sarah Shevon has come forward to expose former Miramax exec Richard Nanula as Mr. Rich, an amateur porn actor who paid her to film an oral sex scene in 2012.
In a lengthy Los Angeles Times article chronicling Nanula's rise and fall in Hollywood, Shevon says she was paid $300 to perform in the POV-style porn with Nanula. The story, posted Friday, outlines sordid details about his supposed sex addiction, including his treatment for it prior to his divorce.
Shevon shed new light on the sex scandal that forced his resignation from his executive posts at Miramax and Colony Capital in July.
According to the Times, Shevon was already suspicious of her co-star's credentials as an adult entertainer, but it wasn't until after TheDirty.com published screenshots from another one of the amateur actor's performances in June that she recognized him as Nanula.

"It was little subtle things that made me suspicious," Shevon told L.A. Times reporter Daniel Miller. "Obviously he wasn't a regular performer. I had never heard of him."
Shevon says she shot the scene with Nanula in a Malbu home in April of 2012 after her manager, Mark Spiegler, had booked the gig which required her to come dressed as "schoolgirl."

Shevon told the Times that she believes the encounter was filmed solely to avoid being labeled as a solicitation of prostitution.
"I don't like how there are these guys who have a lot of money and power and they feel like they can just take advantage of girls or get whatever they want out of them by throwing money at them," she said.
In 2005 divorce filings, Nanula's ex-wife accused him of spending thousands of dollars on prostitutes and said that he had been treated for sex addiction.
Prior to his exit from Colony, he had also been accused of sexual harassment by Stephanie Shaw, a temporary paralegal. He went on leave from Colony Capital in late June, resigning shortly after.
