Give it a little time, and “Power” grows even more, apparently.

The Season 2 finale of the Starz drama “Power” has set a viewership record for the cable station in Live Plus 3 numbers, which take into account the initial audience and those watching via delayed viewing over the following three days.

In Live Plus 3, the Saturday at 9 p.m. premiere airing of the finale accumulated 2.39 million total viewers, a record for Starz in terms of episode premiere viewership. The previous record was set the week before with episode 209 of the series, which drew 2.29 million viewers in Live Plus 3.

The Season 2 finale numbers also represented a big boost over the first season finale of “Power.” The Live Plus 3 numbers for Saturday’s episode represent a 51 percent boost over those of the first season finale, which drew 1.59 million viewers.

The “Power” season finale also bested the season average by 17 percent.

The series has been renewed for a third season.
