“Power” star Kathrine Narducci will join Spencer Boldman (Disney XD’s “Lab Rats”) and Emily Ratajkowski (“Gone Girl”) in Rob Siegel’s indie movie “Cruise,” TheWrap has learned.

Set during the summer of 1987, “Cruise” stars Boldman as Gio Marchetti, a young Italian-American who loves racing cars and chasing girls — until he meets Long Island girl Jessica Weintraub (Ratajkowski).

Narducci will play Boldman’s mother, while Gino Cafarelli will play his father. Cafarelli co-starred in Siegel’s directorial debut, “Big Fan,” and serves as an executive producer on “Cruise.”

Siegel (“The Wrestler”) will write and direct the film, which Alex Garcia and Laura Walker from AG Capital (a division of AG Studios) will produce with Holly Brown and Scott LaStaiti.

UTA Independent Film Group arranged the financing of the film and represents its domestic rights.

Narducci currently plays Frankie Lavarro on the hit Starz series “Power” and she recently wrapped HBO’s Bernie Madoff movie “The Wizard of Lies” with Robert De Niro. Her feature credits include De Niro’s “A Bronx Tale” and Clint Eastwood‘s “Jersey Boys,” in which she played Frankie Valli‘s mother. She’s represented by Clear Talent Group.
