‘Power/Rangers’ Bootleg Returns to Internet, Fans Rejoice

The 14-minute film, starring James Van Der Beek and Katee Sackhoff, returns to Vimeo and YouTube

There appears to be a tentative peace in the “Power Rangers” universe between copyright holder Haim Saban and short film producer Adi Shankar, whose “Power/Rangers” bootleg film starring James Van Der Beek and Katee Sackhoff captivated franchise fans this week.

Music video director Joseph Kahn posted the 14-minute “Power Rangers” take-off — his fourth “Bootleg Universe” project — on Monday night, but YouTube removed the video.

The video has returned to Vimeo and YouTube for fans’ viewing enjoyment.

A NSFW version appears on Vimeo with the following warning: “The video contains graphic violence, nudity, sexual situations and drug use, and is intended for mature audiences only. Viewer discretion is strongly advised.”
